A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It goes without saying that the pay out schedule can vary from game to game, so that skillful enthusiasts are able to select the most beneficial game each instance.
Once the first round has played out, the player can either decide to remain on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Additionally, a few versions of the game allow the player an opportunity to double their profits, in which situation a further game is played. There are also variations between specific games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
