Jacks-or-Better Electronic-Poker System

  • In any hand having a Jack, unless the hand is already a winner! – four to an open-ended Straight, 4 with a Flush or 3 to a Straight Flush or Royal Flush – refuse all cards only keeping the Jack
  • In any hand holding only one card Jack or above, maintain the single great card and refuse all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand holding 1 pair less than than Jacks, keep the pair and reject all other cards – unless of course the hand is four to some Straight or 4 with a Flush
  • In any hand holding a two-pair, preserve both pair and reject the odd-card.
  • In any hand with 3-of-a-kind retain the three-of-a-kind and refuse the other two cards.
  • In any hand having 4 with a Straight, hold all 4 Straight cards and re-draw – unless the Straight draw is not open-ended and the hand is holding a Jack)
  • In any hand holding four with a Flush, preserve the 4 Flush – unless the hand holds 3 to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand having 4-of-a-kind, hold almost everything since a one-card draw will not enhance the cards.
  • In any hand with three to a Royal Flush, refuse almost everything else and go for that Royal – unless the hand is already a Sraight Flush!
